BUSHWALKING

One Step at a Time

Walks To Look Forward To

Welcome back bush walkers old and new!

Our first expedition this year, and the first for over a year as a consequence of Covid, was really well attended. Twenty- one of us set off from our picnic spot at Kincumba Mountain, heading for Colin Waters Lookout. About the half way point some members decided they’d walked far enough and headed back to the picnic spot. The hardier ones continued to the lookout and were rewarded with a spectacular view across a valley to Avoca and the ocean.

Our next walk will be on

TUESDAY 16th MARCH - ROCKY POINT LOOKOUT IN BOUDDI NATIONAL PARK.

Meet at the car park 10.30 am. This walk is along a fire trail to Alan Strom’s Lookout – 2 kms round trip.

Look forward to seeing another big turnout!

Directions: Empire Bay Road heading towards Empire Bay. Left onto Wards Hill Road heading towards Killcare. Just after Maitland Bay Road on the left there is a parking area and information bay on the right. See you there. If anyone would like to have a coffee or lunch afterwards, we could call in at the Empire Bay Tavern.
