Our last walk:
This, the last walk of the year was held in the beautiful territory of Blackwell Mountain enjoying the most magnificent views. The highlight of the day, of course was lunching at Fred Leake’s residence.
Thank you Fred for your hospitality.
August 20 Flannel Flower Fantasy or Wagstaffe Wander walk .
Coo-ee!! A dozen walkers convened at Wagstaff for the choice of two walks under a cloudless blue sky.
Most walkers opted for the Flannel Flower Folly and folly it was as the flowers are yet to bloom. But the walk was brilliant through coastal forests overlooking superb visas.
July 16 Putty Beach Bush Walk.
June 18 The Gosford Gallop.
May, Tuesday 21: Rocks Reconnoitre
This was a special all-day event to the historic Rocks area of Sydney Harbour and interested many of our club members other than our regular walkers.
"We were led" led by specialist Rocks tour guide “Larrikin” Brian Harrison, convened at Circular Quay for a two-hour tour in the area where our guide grew up. Cost was $10 for Brian’s services.
We also enjoyed morning tea and lunch at our own expense. A really terrific day.
